Simply fill out the above form and indicate “BATTERY REPLACEMENT ONLY.” Only a professional timepiece technician should replace the battery. REPLACEMENT BATTERIES INSERTED UPSIDE DOWN WILL CAUSE THE MOVEMENT TO SHORT-OUT. FAILURE TO RESEAL THE WATCH PROPERLY AFTER OPENING THE CASE WIL COMPROMISE THE WATER RESISTANCY OF THOSE WATCHES THAT ARE WATER RESISTANT. THESE OR OTHER IMPROPER SERVICE TECHNIQUES CAN AND WILL RESULT IN SERIOUS DAMAGE AND VOID THE WARRANTY.
