Tense is the latest addition to Selco’s wood watch collection. The popularity of wood watches is growing therefore our need to add styles and capabilities has grown along with it. We met Tense last summer and quickly realized some great synergies. Like Selco, Tense produces many of their own parts giving them flexibility to manufacture to your specifications. The watch line is manufactured by hand in their Canadian workshop and are powered by Miyota Japanese made movements.
Tense Wooden Watches was founded in Vancouver, British Columbia in 1971. They are the original wood watch companies and the owner, Ken Lau, has over 60 years experience in the watch and clock industries. Ken is committed to protecting the environment so Tense produces sustainable product made from 100% recycled or reclaimed wood. We are excited to partner with a company with their experience and capabilities in such a popular niche.
